Mission Statement
Solid Rock Church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ and spread scriptural holiness in our community and beyond.

Definition of Scriptural Holiness in One Sentence:
“Scriptural Holiness is the grace-filled life of a people set apart for God, sharing God’s goodness and glory through Christ, and growing in holy love for God and neighbor.”

Description of Mission

This means we:

  • Invite people to follow Jesus and experience new life in Him
  • Grow together as disciples through worship, prayer, and study of Scripture
  • Practice scriptural holiness
    • Loving God and others with our whole lives
    • Being transformed by God’s grace in heart and behavior
    • Turning from sin and growing in Christlike character
  • Serve with compassion by meeting spiritual and practical needs
  • Equip each person for ministry using their God-given gifts
  • Share the gospel locally and globally
Vision Statement
We seek to be a Christ-centered church family where every person is equipped to discover and to use their God-given gifts to serve and share God’s love.

  • Spiritual formation opportunities are provided for men, women, and children.
  • Individuals are guided and supported in exploring and practicing their spiritual gifts.
  • We meet, at their point of need, all persons God places in our path and, using our God-given gifts, we work together to meet those needs.
  • We actively seek opportunities in the community to be the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus.
